Surah Baqarah Last 2 Ayat Benefits:
The last two verses of Surah Baqarah are 285, 286. The second surah of the Holy Qur'an. The last two verses of this surah have special virtues and significance. Regular practice of this part will protect the servant from various dangers. It will make the path to Paradise easier.
- A person asked Rasulullah (SAW). O Messenger of God. Which surah of the Qur'an is the most prestigious? He said, Surah Ikhlas. Then he said again. Which verse of the Qur'an is the most prestigious? He said, Ayatul Kursi. Then he said again, O Prophet of God. Which verse do you like, which will benefit you and your Ummah. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, The last two verses of Surah Baqarah. And that is 285, 286
When these two verses were revealed?
- These two verses are described in Sahih Muslim. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) on the night of Miraj. "These two verses have been given to heaven with five daily prayers."
"One day, Hazrat Jibraeel (A.S.) was sitting near Prophet Muhammad (S.A.). Suddenly there was a loud sound. Hazrat Jibraeel (A.S.) raised his head and said, "It is the sound of opening the door of the sky which has never been opened before today. An angel descended to earth through that door. He who had never come to earth before. He came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "There is good news for you of two lights. The last two verses of Suratul Fatiha and Suratul Baqarah. Those two lights. which was not granted to any other Prophet before you. Recite the last two verses of Surah Fatiha and Suratul Baqarah. Whatever you ask of Allah Ta'ala will be granted." (Muslim, Hadith No. 806)
Narrated by Nu'man Ibn Bashir (RA).
- The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Two thousand years before Allah created the heavens and the earth. Wrote a book. From that book. He is revealing two verses. Through those two verses. Finished Surah Al-Baqara. The room where these two verses are recited for three nights. Satan cannot come near that house.

Narrated by Ayfa' Ibnu 'Abdil Kala'i (RA).
- A person asked, O Prophet of Allah (ﷺ), which verse of the Qur'an do you like to have its blessings reach you and your Ummah? He (ﷺ) said, The last part of Surah Al-Baqarah. Because Allah Ta'ala has given it to this Ummah from the storehouse under His throne. There is no good in this world and the hereafter that is not in it.

Narrated by Zubair Ibn Nufayr (RA).
- Rasulullah (ﷺ) said. Allah Ta'ala ends Surah Al-Baqarah with two such verses. which has been bestowed upon me from the storehouse under the Throne. So you will learn these verses. Will teach your women too. Because these verses are mercy, the way to get close (to Allah). Du'a for the welfare of (everyone in the world). (Mishkat- 2173)
Hazrat Ali (RA) said. It is not known to me that any Muslim of suitable age and intellect, before going to sleep at night. Do not recite the last two verses of Ayatul Kursi and Suratul Baqarah. (Tafseer Ibn Kasir, Volume 1, Page-735)
Narrated by Badri Sahabi Abu Mas'ud (RA).
- He said, Rasulullah (ﷺ) said. There are two such verses at the end of Surah Baqarah. Whoever recites two verses at night. These two verses are enough for him. That is, the right to recite the Qur'an at night. At least reciting the last two verses of Surah Baqarah is enough for him. (Sahih Bukhari - 4008)

সুরা বাকারা কোরআনুল কারিমের দ্বিতীয় ও বড় সুরা। এ সুরার শেষ দুটি আয়াত (২৮৫-২৮৬, আমানার রাসূলু…থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত) তেলাওয়াত করার অনেক উপকারের কথা সহীহ হাদীসে বর্ণিত হয়েছে। শেষ আয়াতে অত্যন্ত জরুরি কয়েকটি দুয়া রয়েছে। এসব দুয়া কবুল হওয়ার ওয়াদাও করা হয়েছে।
বিশ্ব নবী (সাঃ) একদিন বললেন, “এই মাত্র আকাশের একটি দরজা খোলা হয়েছে। এর আগে কখনও এ দরজাটি খোলা হয়নি, এ দরজা দিয়ে একজন ফেরেশতা অবতরণ করছেন। এর আগে তিনি কখনও পৃথিবীতে অবতরণ করেননি। এ ফেরেশতা রাসুলুল্লাহ (সাঃ) কে সালাম করে বলেন, সুসংবাদ গ্রহণ করুন আপাদমস্তক দুটি নূরের, যা আপনার আগে কোন নবীকে দেয়া হয়নি
১. ফাতেহাতুন কিতাব অর্থাৎ সুরা ফাতেহা এবং
২. সুরা বাকারার শেষ দুই আয়াত।
উভয় আয়াতে দোয়া আছে। আল্লাহর উসিলা করে,আপনি এসব দোয়ার যে অংশই পাঠ করবেন আল্লাহ আপনাকে অবশ্যই রহমত দান করবেন, (অর্থাত কবুল করা হবে)। সহীহ মুসলিম।
রাতের বেলা ঘুমানোর পূর্বে সুরা বাক্বারার শেষ দুই আয়াত তেলাওয়াত করলে তাহাজ্জুদ নামাযের সমান সওয়াব পাওয়ার আশা করা যেতে পারে।

২৮৫. আমানুর-রাসুলু বিমা উংজিলা ইলাইহি মির রাব্বিহি ওয়াল মু’মিনুন। কুল্লুন আমানা বিল্লাহি ওয়া মালা-ইকাতিহি ওয়া কুতুবিহি ওয়া রুসুলিহি, লা নুফার-রিকু বাইনা আহা’দিম-মির রুসুলিহি। ওয়া ক্বালু সামি’না, ওয়া আত্বা’না, গুফরা নাকা, রাব্বানা ওয়া ইলাইকাল মাসির।
২৮৬. লা ইউ কাল্লিফুল্লাহু নাফসান ইল্লা উস-আ’হা। লাহা মা কাসাবাত ওয়া আ’লাইহা মাক তাসাবাত। রব্বানা লা-তু আখজিনা-ইন্না সিনা- আও আখত্বা’না। রাব্বানা ওয়ালা তাহ’মিল আ’লাইনা ইসরান কামা হা’মালতাহু আ’লাল্লাজিনা মিন ক্বাবলিনা। রব্বানা ওয়ালা তুহা’ম্মিলনা মা-লা ত্বাকাতালানা বিহ। ওয়াআ’ফু আ’ন্না, ওয়াগ ফিরলানা, ওয়ার হা’মনা। আংতা মাওলানা, ফানছুরনা আ’লাল ক্বাওমিল কাফিরিন। (আমিন)।
অর্থঃ
২৮৫. রসূল বিশ্বাস রাখেন ঐ সমস্ত বিষয় সম্পর্কে যা তাঁর পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তাঁর কাছে অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে এবং মুসলমানরাও সবাই বিশ্বাস রাখে আল্লাহর প্রতি, তাঁর ফেরেশতাদের প্রতি, তাঁর গ্রন্থসমুহের প্রতি এবং তাঁর পয়গম্বরগণের প্রতি। তারা বলে আমরা তাঁর পয়গম্বরদের মধ্যে কোন তারতম্য করিনা। তারা বলে, আমরা শুনেছি এবং কবুল করেছি। আমরা তোমার ক্ষমা চাই, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা। তোমারই দিকে প্রত্যাবর্তন করতে হবে।
২৮৬. আল্লাহ কাউকে তার সাধ্যাতীত কোন কাজের ভার দেন না, সে তাই পায় যা সে উপার্জন করে এবং তাই তার উপর বর্তায় যা সে করে। হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, যদি আমরা ভুলে যাই কিংবা ভুল করি, তবে আমাদেরকে অপরাধী করো না। হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! এবং আমাদের উপর এমন দায়িত্ব অর্পণ করো না, যেমন আমাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের উপর অর্পণ করেছ, হে আমাদের প্রভূ! এবং আমাদের দ্বারা ঐ বোঝা বহন করিও না, যা বহন করার শক্তি আমাদের নাই। আমাদের পাপ মোচন কর। আমাদেরকে ক্ষমা কর এবং আমাদের প্রতি দয়া কর। তুমিই আমাদের প্রভু। সুতরাং কাফের সম্প্রদায়ের বিরুদ্ধে আমাদের কে সাহায্যে কর।

সুরা বাকারার শেষ দুই আয়াতের আমল ও ফজিলত
১. হজরত আবু মাসউদ আনসারি রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু বর্ণনা করেছেন, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেন, ‘যে ব্যক্তি সুরাহ আল-বাকারার শেষের এ দুটি আয়াত পড়বে তা ঐ রাতে সেই ব্যক্তির জন্য যথেষ্ট হবে।’ (বুখারি ৪০০৮-৫০০৯, মুসলিম ৮০৮)
২. হজরত নুমান ইবনু বাশীর রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু বর্ণনা করেছেন, নবিজি সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেন, ‘আল্লাহ তাআলা আসমান-জমিন সৃষ্টির দুই হাজার বছর আগে একটি কিতাব লিখেছেন। সেই কিতাব থেকে তিনি দুটি আয়াত নাজিল করছেন। সেই দুটি আয়াতের মাধ্যমেই সুরা আল-বাকারা সমাপ্ত করেছেন। যে ঘরে তিন রাত এ দুটি আয়াত তেলাওয়াত করা হয়; শয়তান সেই ঘরের কাছে আসতে পারে না।’ (তিরমিজি ২৮৮২)
৩. হজরত জুবায়ের ইবনু নুফায়র রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু বর্ণনা করেছেন, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেন, ‘সুরা আল-বাকারাকে আল্লাহ তাআলা এমন দুটি আয়াত দ্বারা শেষ করেছেন, যা আমাকে আল্লাহর আরশের নীচের ভাণ্ডার থেকে দান করা হয়েছে। তাই তোমরা এ আয়াতগুলোকে শিখবে। তোমাদের স্ত্রীদেরও শেখাবে। কারণ এ আয়াতগুলো হচ্ছে রহমত, (আল্লাহর) নৈকট্য লাভের উপায়। (দীন দুনিয়ার সকল) কল্যাণ পাওয়ার দোয়া।’ (মিশকাত ২১৭৩, দারেমি ৩৩৯০)
শুধু তা-ই নয়, তাফসিরে মাজহারতে এসেছে, হজরত আবদুল্লাহ ইবনে মাসউদ রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু বর্ণনা করেন যে রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম ইরশাদ করেন, ‘যখন আমাকে সিদরাতুল মুনতাহায় নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়, তখন তিনটি জিনিস দান করা হয়-
১. পাঁচ ওয়াক্ত নামাজ,
২. সুরা বাকারার শেষ দুই আয়াত,
৩. এ উম্মতের মধ্যে যারা শিরক করে না, তাদের কবিরা গুনাহ মাফ হওয়ার সুসংবাদ।’
মহান আল্লাহ রাব্বুল আলামিন আমাদের দৈনন্দিন জীবনে সবাইকে পবিত্র কোরআন শরিফের এ বরকতময় সম্মানিত আয়াত পাঠ এবং আমল করার তাওফিক দিয়ে দুনিয়া ও আখিরাতের সব মুসিবত, বিপদ-আপদ, রোগ-শোক অতিক্রম করে শান্তিময় ও সুখের জীবনলাভে ধন্য করুন। আমিন!
